Celebrate Black History Month through the gathering of a drum circle!

The Staten Island Urban Center, Alkebulan Consciousness Rising, and the Staten Island Afro American Historical & Genealogical Society are partnering with the Newhouse Center for Contemporary Art at Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden for a blessing of the African diaspora: the drum circle. The drum circle will take place in at the RCSF Tuscan Garden near the East Gate and the Heritage Farm. While we will have some extra drums, please feel free to bring your own drum or percussion instrument to join this celebration of community.
